Call to exporters from the Western Balkans: Join the training program on ESG standards

Business Responsibility Hub – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the PKS Business Academy, in cooperation with the initiative Partners in Transformation (Agency for Business and Development and the Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services – BGA), are organizing a comprehensive training program intended for exporters from the Western Balkans.

The program is designed to support companies from developing countries and emerging economies in establishing effective systems for managing ESG standards – environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance. The goal is to help companies meet the increasingly demanding criteria of international buyers and strengthen their market position as reliable and responsible business partners.

Program Structure

Module 1 – Implementation of Human Rights Due Diligence in Practice
The training is conducted by the German Helpdesk on Business and Human Rights. This module is free of charge and held online.

Module 2 – Advanced Training with Individual Coaching
An intensive ten-hour training intended for companies that want to develop strong risk management systems, create action plans, and establish their own code of conduct. It also includes individual sessions with experienced trainers.

Module 3 – Round Table: Live Discussion and Exchange of Experiences
Organized by the Business Responsibility Hub as a continuation of the first two modules. The round table provides an opportunity to exchange regional experiences, identify opportunities, and address challenges in applying ESG standards.

Who Can Apply?

The call is open to all companies from the region of the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF).

The program is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
