Why are companies
important?

Companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), are key drivers of economic growth, employment, and innovation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Their competitiveness, resilience, and ability to adapt to new market demands directly impact the country’s sustainable economic development. The SEDEP project recognizes their role in job creation and export growth, placing a special focus on young and women entrepreneurs, as well as export-oriented companies ready to embrace digitalization and green business practices.

What will be done with the companies and why?

Within the SEDEP project, companies will receive financial and technical support to improve their operations, enhance competitiveness, and address the challenges of digital and green transitions. Through grants and a voucher scheme, companies will be enabled to invest in modernization, digitalization, and the implementation of environmentally sustainable solutions.
