Bosnia and Herzegovina will once again host the region’s largest event dedicated to cybersecurity — Cyber Security Summit 2025, to be held on November 19–20, 2025, at the Hills Congress Center in Sarajevo.
The conference is organized by the e-Transformation Association, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity, fostering cooperation between institutions, businesses, academia, and experts, and building a more resilient digital ecosystem in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
Two Days, 30 Speakers, 4 Panels — A Hub for Key Cybersecurity Topics
This year’s Summit features a rich and diverse program, including:
- 16 keynote lectures by leading national and international experts,
- 4 panel discussions on the most pressing cybersecurity topics,
- an Expo Zone showcasing technological innovations and solutions, and
- 5 parallel events.
More than 30 speakers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad will take the stage — including representatives of European institutions, regulatory bodies, the private sector, and organizations actively contributing to the development of a secure digital environment.
Focus on Economic Resilience and Institutional Preparedness
The 2025 program puts a special emphasis on:
- alignment with European cybersecurity regulations,
- strengthening the capacities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),
- education and the development of cyber skills, and
- collaboration between the public and private sectors.
One of the central events will be the panel discussion “How to Build an Economy Resilient to Digital Threats,” featuring representatives of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, members of the real sector, and a cybersecurity expert.
Cybersecurity Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs
A special segment of the conference is the Cybersecurity Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs, to be held on November 20, 2025, at 10:15 a.m.
Workshop objective:
This dynamic and hands-on session aims to empower women entrepreneurs with essential knowledge and skills to recognize and effectively respond to the most common cyber threats that could endanger their businesses. Through real-world examples, interactive decision-making, and brief self-assessments, participants will learn how to develop safer digital habits and protect their business’s digital assets.
Expected outcomes:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- identify key cyber risks faced by small businesses (e.g. phishing, password theft, compromised social media accounts),
- recognize suspicious messages, emails, and links through guided scenarios and role-play,
- apply 3–5 simple and free measures to enhance cybersecurity, and
- create a personalized three-step Cyber Action Plan to implement after the workshop.
Key activities include:
- interactive “Choose Your Reaction” scenarios (fake invoice, banking message, hacked Instagram profile),
- a group quiz and strong password challenge,
- a quick cybersecurity checklist and self-assessment,
- a clickable action plan and access to additional learning resources.
Tools and follow-up resources:
The workshop uses tools such as Google Slides, Mentimeter, Slido, and digital checklists. After completion, participants will receive a toolkit with links to password managers, guides for enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA), and cybersecurity checklists tailored to women-led businesses.
Expo Zone and International Partnerships
In the Expo Zone, participants will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge solutions from renowned companies such as Fortinet, Check Point, Exclusive Networks, and Two Tech, as well as visit the booths of the e-Transformation Association and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo.
Adding an important international dimension, the OSCE Annual Cybersecurity Forum 2025 will take place in parallel with the Summit — reaffirming the regional relevance of this event and strengthening knowledge exchange and best practices.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Cyber Security Summit brings together key stakeholders from the fields of digital transformation, IT, education, government, and business.
It has become a central platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices — with a mission to enhance cybersecurity culture and awareness across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
