A three-year project, EU for Private Sector Development (EU4PSD), worth EUR 9 million, has been launched in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project aims to support the private sector, but also micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in their green and digital transformation. Funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ and OECD, the project will focus on improving the competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability of Bosnian businesses.
Although the project officially started in December 2024, its formal launch will take place on April 2nd in Sarajevo at Europe House. Representatives from the implementing organizations will discuss the challenges of digitalization and green transition with business representatives and sign key agreements with partners. Through grants, training, and technical support, EU4PSD will help Bosnian businesses improve their operations and become more competitive in the European market.
The EU4PSD project represents a key initiative to strengthen green and digital solutions in BiH, providing support to entrepreneurs, including startups, innovative companies, and businesses led by women and youth.
