Berlin, May 2025<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Startups and entrepreneurship support organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina made a remarkable and impactful appearance at\u00a0GITEX Europe<\/b>, one of the leading European conferences focused on technology, innovation, and investment, held from May 21 to 23 in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, Bosnia and Herzegovina had its own\u00a0national pavilion<\/b>\u00a0at this prestigious event, thanks to an initiative implemented through GIZ\u2019s\u00a0SEDEP program<\/b>, in partnership with the\u00a0Ecosystem Connectors<\/b>\u00a0project. The SEDEP program, co-financed by the\u00a0Government of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ)<\/b>, the\u00a0European Union<\/b>, and the\u00a0Government of Switzerland<\/b>, aims to enhance employability and strengthen the private sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina through digital and green transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five innovative startups\u2014Valens, ZenDev, E387, Sarajevo VRX Immersive Museum<\/b>, and\u00a0Emaq<\/b>\u2014along with five key organizations actively working to develop the startup ecosystem\u2014Elevate, Foundation 787, IMPAKT Foundation, Sarajevo School of Science and Technology<\/b>, and\u00a0FabLab Sarajevo<\/b>\u2014were showcased at the Bosnia and Herzegovina pavilion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program in Berlin began with intensive workshops on pitch preparation and investor readiness, followed by targeted networking events and visits to prominent Berlin startup hubs. Participants had valuable opportunities to connect with international investors, ecosystem players, and potential partners from across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bosnia and Herzegovina pavilion, coordinated by\u00a0Bit Alliance<\/b>\u00a0in collaboration with strategic partners from the local tech and innovation community, attracted particular attention. It served as a platform for promoting ideas and building business connections, offering startups the chance to pitch live and establish meaningful contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the main appearance at GITEX, the BiH delegation took part in a series of curated side events, including\u00a0Investor Talks<\/b>\u00a0at\u00a0CIC Berlin<\/b>, interactive sessions and networking at\u00a0MotionLab<\/b>, and evening meetups designed to foster collaboration and increase visibility for emerging tech ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
