An analysis of private sector needs clearly shows that greening secondary vocational education is a key step toward a sustainable economy and a more competitive labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Through GIZ\u2019s SEDEP programme, partner institutions are supported in developing green cross-sectoral competencies that are applicable across all industries and help students prepare for new jobs and the challenges of a modern economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Companies participating in the programme actively transfer knowledge on the green transition to students through practical training\u2014from proper waste and hazardous materials management to sustainable resource and energy management.
