Study on Monitoring the Quality of Practical Training Implementation in Tuzla Canton Presented<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Tuzla Cantonal Chamber of Commerce, the results of the Study on Monitoring the Quality of Practical Training Implementation were presented. This study was conducted for the first time in Tuzla Canton as part of the project \u201cImprovement and Promotion of Dual-Organized Secondary Vocational Education\u201d, implemented by the Chamber with the support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ) and the Swiss Government through the initiative \u201cStrengthening Secondary Vocational Education and Training in Bosnia and Herzegovina.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the study was to assess the current state of practical training implementation, identify key challenges, and provide recommendations for further improvement. In addition, the study will serve as a baseline for the coming years to monitor progress and the quality of practical training that equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for their future integration into the labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor the first time in Tuzla Canton, we have a study that monitors the implementation of practical training in secondary vocational education. We need it to obtain a foundation and guidelines for how to proceed further in secondary vocational education when it comes to practical training. This is a major project realized thanks to our partners,\u201d said Nedret Kikanovi\u0107, President of the Tuzla Cantonal Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As highlighted at the event held at the Chamber, the period ahead will provide a clear picture, and in the coming period the quality of all segments of this project will become evident. \u201cI believe this is the beginning of a process. It is certain that such an organizational structure of practical training within business entities will yield good results. What is particularly important is that, for the first time, we are trying to address this issue in a systematic way,\u201d said Zlatko Ibri\u0161imovi\u0107, Advisor for Secondary Education at the Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton, expressing satisfaction with the overall process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe included 112 students engaged in practical training within business entities. Based on a series of activities, we determined that employers are extremely satisfied with the implementation of practical training and that, with certain suggestions, there are opportunities for improvement. For this reason, experts from these fields\u2014people who work directly on these processes\u2014have been brought together to jointly enhance this process and bring Tuzla Canton closer to modern trends, namely the development of dual education,\u201d stated Nikola \u010ci\u010da, author of the presented study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to representatives of educational institutions, representatives of schools and companies also took part. Particularly significant was the presence of coordinators and mentors of practical training in schools and business entities, who are directly involved in the implementation of practical training and play a key role in its quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event provided an opportunity for participants to become familiar with the study results, as well as to share their experiences in implementing practical training and jointly identify challenges and future directions of action aimed at improving the quality of practical training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surveys conducted by the Chamber in previous years indicated the need to improve and enhance cooperation between companies and schools. Therefore, events of this kind represent an ideal opportunity for networking, connecting, and establishing higher-quality cooperation between the two learning environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is implemented within the program \u201cSustainable Economic Development and Employment Promotion\u201d (SEDEP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
