Entrepreneurship often begins with a simple idea and a desire to create something new and different. Such is the story of the brand Kidotent, founded by Zerina \u010colakovi\u0107 from Zenica. As a graduate economist with many years of experience in the private sector, Zerina decided to channel her knowledge and creativity into developing her own business.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kidotent was created from the idea of designing products that provide children with space for play, imagination, and creativity, while offering parents practical solutions for everyday life. The brand name was designed to connect three key concepts: children, space, and tent, symbolically representing a small world of play and imagination where children can develop their creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, Kidotent has grown beyond its initial concept and developed into a recognizable small business that continuously creates new products and adapts to the needs of families with children. The business focuses on functional, creative, and carefully designed products that combine practicality with play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A particularly valuable aspect of this story is that it represents women\u2019s entrepreneurship, demonstrating how individual initiative, creativity, and dedication can grow into a sustainable business venture. Through the development of Kidotent, Zerina has shown how an entrepreneurial idea can be built step by step, relying on personal experience, innovation, and an understanding of the needs of parents and children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A significant recognition for the development of her business came during the entrepreneurial event \u201cWelcome to the Future 2.0\u201d, where she received a financial incentive of 5,000 KM as one of the most successful participants in the program. Through the Private Sector Development Initiative, co-financed by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, support was provided to initiatives that strengthen local entrepreneurship and contribute to the development of innovative business ideas. Examples like Kidotent demonstrate how small businesses, driven by knowledge and creativity, can contribute to the development of the local economy and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story of Kidotent is therefore an example of how an entrepreneurial idea, guided by passion and dedication, can grow into a stable and recognizable business while simultaneously connecting creativity, sustainability, and a modern approach to product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
