FabMobile is a success story because it brings advanced technology directly into classrooms and communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, reaching students who otherwise have limited access to modern equipment and training.
Before FabMobile, many schools had limited access to modern technology and students mainly learned through theory and outdated equipment. After FabMobile, students are gaining hands-on experience with robotics, VR, IoT systems and digital fabrication through mobile high-tech labs.
It has successfully combined education and innovation by delivering practical, real-world learning experiences and supporting teachers in updating their skills to match modern technological developments.
The project has reached dozens of schools and thousands of students, strengthened cooperation with local municipalities, and helped bridge the gap between education and the labour market by preparing young people for future careers in the digital and green economy.
This success story was developed within the Sustainable Economic Development and Employment Promotion Programme (SEDEP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, jointly financed by the European Union, the Government of Switzerland and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ.
