Mack Lift – The Entrepreneurial Story of Mirsad Imširović from Srebrenik

An inspiring entrepreneurial story comes from Srebrenik, demonstrating how knowledge, experience, and determination can grow into a successful business venture. Mirsad Imširović, a young entrepreneur who continuously develops new ideas and business opportunities, founded the company Mack Lift, a business focused on the production, installation, and maintenance of elevators.

Through the development of the company, Mirsad recognized the growing need for high-quality and reliable solutions in the field of vertical transportation, especially in the context of the rapidly expanding construction sector. Mack Lift is therefore developing as a domestic business that provides solutions tailored to the needs of modern buildings, with a strong focus on safety, functionality, and service quality. The company’s development is based on a combination of technical knowledge, practical experience, and continuous improvement of business processes.

As a young entrepreneur, Mirsad demonstrated from the very beginning a readiness to turn his ideas into concrete business projects. His approach to business is based on continuous development, the introduction of new solutions, and strengthening the company’s capacities in order to respond effectively to market demands. This approach has enabled Mack Lift to position itself as an example of a domestic entrepreneurial initiative in the industrial sector.

An important step in the development of the business was participation in entrepreneur support programs implemented by the Impakt Investment Foundation. Through these activities, Mirsad had the opportunity to further develop his business model, present his business, and receive both mentoring and financial support for the continued growth of the company.

During the entrepreneurial event “Welcome to the Future 2.0,” Mirsad Imširović was named the most successful participant of the event, and his business Mack Lift won the first prize of 7,000 KM. This recognition further confirmed the potential of his business venture and the quality of the idea he is developing. The development of such entrepreneurial initiatives is supported through the Private Sector Development Initiative, co-financed by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. The initiative is also part of the broader GIZ program “Sustainable Economic Development and Employment Promotion,” which contributes to strengthening entrepreneurship, innovation, and the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Examples like Mack Lift demonstrate how local entrepreneurial initiatives, driven by knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit, can contribute to industrial development, strengthen domestic production, and create new business opportunities. The story of Mirsad Imširović confirms that innovative ideas and determination can open space for the development of new businesses and contribute to strengthening the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This success story was developed within the Sustainable Economic Development and Employment Promotion Programme (SEDEP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, jointly financed by the European Union, the Government of Switzerland and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ.
